The kids and I went to see the Harlem Globetrotters on Sunday in Grand Rapids! I have not seen them since I was a young child so getting to take my 3 kids was such a treat for me! My little man is way into basketball so I think he had the most fun!
Korbyn plays basketball for the Wyoming Wolves and it was fun to watch him watch the game. All of the tricks and entertainment was a thrill for him. He knows that he can do all those tricks if he keeps working hard on his skill. The crowd loved all the entertainment during the game and it is fun watching them pull people from the crowd to make us laugh.
Now my girls also had a great time! My youngest cannot wait to go again!!
My girls loved that there is a girl on the team! They call her “HOOPS” and she was fantastic. She played almost the whole game. I love that she held her own with all of the men! I think that is one of the best choices they made adding a female. It gives our girls a great role model. I played basketball all through school and it was fun for me to watch her play. We sure have come a long way as a society!
So it you are thinking of taking your family to a game do not hesitate! Great fun for the whole family! Be sure to bring a $20.00 bill so you can buy a ball at half-time. I regret not having any cash on me. I wish I would have bought them a ball!
They had so many fun things that they did for laughs like hanging on the hoops and slam dunks. The half time show was funny also!! At one point everyone turned on their phone flashlights and I took this photo when that happened! Just pure entertainment!
